Yes, we always use reinforcing mesh to help prevent shrinkage cracks and ensure your concrete maintains its strength and structure over time.
-
We place control cuts in carefully selected areas to minimise the risk of cracking and ensure a clean, professional finish that lasts.
-
We install a layer of expansion foam alongside brickwork and other structures to create a small buffer between them and the concrete. This helps absorb natural movement caused by temperature changes or weather conditions, reducing the risk of cracking over time.
-
While every precaution is taken to minimise the chance of cracking — including the use of expansion foam, control cuts and quality reinforcement — it’s important to note that concrete is a natural product and can still develop cracks over time. Factors such as weather, ground movement, soil type and site conditions are beyond our control. Like all companies in the industry, we can’t guarantee that cracking won’t occur, but we do everything possible to reduce the likelihood.

Yes, we seal every concrete surface we complete. Once the concrete has set, it’s acid-washed and high-pressure cleaned to bring out its best finish. We then apply a premium solvent-based acrylic sealer to protect the surface and enhance the natural colour and texture of the concrete.
-
Our concrete is created using quarried sand and stone, so slight variations in colour and texture are completely natural. These subtle differences add to the unique character and beauty of the finished surface.
-
To ensure maximum strength and durability, we recommend allowing your new concrete to properly cure before use — wait at least 24 hours before walking on it, and up to 7 days before driving on your driveway.
